Know all men by these presents that we Samuel Summers & Jno H.Middleton are held & firmly bo und unto Isaac Shelby Esqr Governor andChief Magistrate of the State of Kentucky in the su m of fifty poundsTo which payment will duly so be made to the said Governor or hissuccessor s we bind ourselves our Heirs Exors & Admrs jointly &severally firmly by these presents seal ed & dated this 10th day ofJuly 1793.
The condition of the above obligation is such that, whereas the abovebound Samuel Summers h ath obtained a License to intermarry with NancySummers, if therefore there be no lawful caus e to obstruct the samethen this obligation to be void else remain in full force.
