      We know that George W. and Elizabeth Phillips Bushong went on to Kansas,and both died there, but I've not been able to find where theyareburied.

      There is a short bio in the "1878 History of Jasper Co., Iowa," on GeorgeW. Bushong, b. 6/15/ 1834, Logan Co., OH, to John and Rachael Van Vooris Bushong.

      It seems odd that George W. Bushong who had his brother, Samuel fighting in Company F, 10th Iowa is not the same George W. Bushong that is in the same company. I believe the Company B 21st Ohio is a different George W. Bushong. (Victoria's Note)
