PIONEER RESIDENT OF MURRAY DIES AT HOME MONDAY ___________ Sophia Wickens Taylor Harrop, 44, for 20 years a resident of Murray and native of Utah, died Monday morning at the family residence, 300 East 45th South Street, Murray. Surviving are her husband, Thos. W. Harrop, manager of Harrop’s Store in Murray, and three sons, Marvel, George and Jack Harrop. Mr. T. W. Harrop, a native of England came to Salt Lake City about 25 years ago where he met and married Sophia Wickens Taylor. The last twenty years of their married life has been spent in Murray. Mrs. Harrop was a member of the L. D. S. Church and funeral services were held in the Murray First Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Murray Cemetery. The body was viewed at the funeral parlors of Simons and Brinton until Thursday, and at the home until time of the services. Friends in Salt Lake County mourn the loss of a good friend and sympathetic neighbor.
