  Per Josephine, he had two daughters by Etta, Maggie and Emily and two daughters by Della, Laura and Esther Lorena. (He married again much later and had a little boy, and they were divorced. She thinks her name was Mary and her last name was either Woodson or Hatcher. She was much younger than Rafe and she was ill, may have had Epilepsy. After they were divorced, Mary's sister Betty Hatcher took care of Mary and her mother both. Rafe died after they were divorced. She was told years later that the boy didn't want to admit that he was a Hardy.)
