CelestialFamily.org is the online home of the Taylor Family. Initially created in 2000, the site has gone through many revisions and adaptations, changing as the family grows. This goal of this version of the site is to be a central location for online communication. Most of the family is blogging these days, so the home page is setup to follow the posts of the various family bloggers. These are ordered chronologically and update several times a date.

Thanks Victoria. It’s still very much a work in progress, but the biggest thing I wanted to have done was the home page with the blog “planet”. I also wanted to be sure the Genealogy section would still work with the new system and it does. This should be a lot simpler to use and maintain.
Do you know where I could find a photo of James Brown Wickens? I notice you have one of his headstone. Your collection of vintage ancestor photos is incredible.

Thanks for the family of Needham J. Grimes information that you have on this website. My mother’s aunt, Nell Slaughter, was married to Laverte Grimes. I have added this information to my Benton Scott Family Tree on Ancestry.com. I was so fortunate to know most of my mom’s family as I was raised in Phenix City, AL, and attended West Side Baptist Church (now Lakewood BC). I am blessed that both of my parents (Julian P. Benton and Esther McCollister Benton) are both living. We were pleased that Terry (Laverte and Nell’s son) and his wife Clara were able to join the Benton gathering this past week for Mother’s Day.
