I had originally taken some photos I took while I was making dinner, but as I was doing other things, they didn’t turn out as well as I had wanted, so I decided to go with something else I do as part of my daily routine, stopping to smell the roses.

365:day 8 — Theme: Your Sky
I thought I was going to have to do a makeup shot for this, because it’s been raining all day, but late this evening the rain stopped for a bit and there were some breaks in the clouds allowing me to get some cool shots of the almost full moon. This is actually a composite, image. One exposure to get the cool effect on the clouds, and then a separate exposure to get a little bit of detail in the moon.
