365:day 8 — Theme: Your Sky

I thought I was going to have to do a makeup shot for this, because it’s been raining all day, but late this evening the rain stopped for a bit and there were some breaks in the clouds allowing me to get some cool shots of the almost full moon. This is actually a composite, image. One exposure to get the cool effect on the clouds, and then a separate exposure to get a little bit of detail in the moon.

365 Project day five — Theme: Something you wore.
I know it’s cliche, but I’ve always wondered how to setup the light for this shot, so after much experimenting, this is the result. There’s also a double meaning, because the ring is something I wore today (and everyday) but the book is one that I’ve read so many times I wore it out.
