Simpson, wife of John Simpson, departed this life. Mrs. Shimpson was just in the prime of life being only 26 years of age. She was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Todd who were among the early settlers of this valley. Besides her aged parents, she leaves a kind husband and two little children the younger of which is only four months old. THe bereaved ones have the sympathy of the whole community. THe funeral services were held at the residence of the deceased's parents at 2 p.m. today.
