Roger came from England to VA in 1654.

Roger was 26 in 1660 when he gave a deposition. VA Genealogies.

Roger and his wife Alice lived on 50 acre "between ye college place to phillip Clarkes" on 4 Jan 1669. Wit: George Lee.

Roger named father-in-law Richard Skinner Power of Atty in 1675.

During Bacon's Rebellion, Roger was accused of helping the rebels to cross the James river. He said he did it at gunpoint and was acquitted.

This family could have had surviving sons not mentioned in the will. Perhaps son Wm was given his part earlier.

Also what happened to Roger's brother William? Did he have sons? What is the source for this William?
