      Julia M. Carson, 83, of McDonough, Ga., died Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

      She was born in Ellsworth, a daughter of Joseph Edward and Vernus Samantha Rondick.

      Mrs. Carson was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

      Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Reece Carson; a son, Barry Carson and wife Christine of McDonough; a daughter, Deborah Brooks and husband Frank of Mechanicsville, Md.; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

      Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 11, with Pastor Dan Owens officiating.
