Notes: located about 2 miles east of Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas, on Kibler
road. it was named for William H. Gill, b. 5/8/1818 and died 12/06/1891 who furnished the land
for the cemetery in 1883 a deed setting aside 3 acres for a cemetery is shown in the county tax
records. William H. Gill was the son of Harrison Musgrove Gill, and Clarissa Rives. He was born
in Bedford VA. he came to Crawford County, AR, in 1850s Gill was married to Elizabeth Grammer.
